We love spending time at Hubbard's Hills in Louth. It is one of those places where all you need is a picnic and some sunshine and you can enjoy a whole day of family fun. During summer, as we were preparing to go out for a picnic, Carl discovered a roll of expired film in a drawer, so it became the perfect excuse for a spontaneous photo shoot. We grabbed the camera, put in the film and off we went.
Out of 24 exposures in the roll, we got some gorgeous photos, which we are now going to print on our suppliers beautiful fine art paper and put in pride of place in our house. It's a reminder during the dark days of winter, that summer is coming and family days in the sunshine are not too far away.
Film is not only great fun to shoot, but it gives a beautiful style that you simply cannot replicate, no matter how much time you spend in Photoshop. If our couples want us to, we shoot a couple of rolls at weddings and we love to do film only family portrait sessions. If you want a film only family portrait session or want us to shoot some film at your wedding, get in touch and lets have a chat.
