Zoe & Andy’s wedding, in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside, was a beautiful event. Taking place in the tiny village of Raithby, near Spilsby, the wedding was a small and relaxed affair that was all about a couple very much in love. The day was supposedly a mixed bag weather wise, but the rain gods smiled down and it only rained twice, once while the bride was getting ready and again during the ceremony with the beautiful summer sun coming back out just as the married couple left the church. This is the way all wedding day weather should be.
After the ceremony the day moved to the former village school, now hall, where the afternoon was put into swing by the groom and his groomsmen putting on the musical entertainment, including some David Bowie, which in my opinion, no wedding is complete without.
The drinks flowed and the food was devoured after which the speeches were made and received with laughter . We snuck off with the newlyweds to shoot some portraits in the beautiful surroundings and when we returned the party started. Much dancing, fun and laughter followed and heels were removed in order to dance longer. Photographing weddings should not be this much fun.
A massive thanks to Zoe & Andy for choosing us to capture their wedding. We wish you many years of love and laughter.
